Robin is a retired educator with more than 32 years of experience in the public school system of Alabama, both as a teacher and as an administrator.
Robin is proud of the 25 years that she spent in the classroom working with students in the Mobile County Public School System and the Hoover City School System. She has served on numerous state, regional and national boards. She has been president and executive director of several state education associations.
In 1997, Robin was honored as the Alabama Teacher of the Year and the Alabama Physical Education Teacher of the Year.
A Fighter Against Powerful Lobbies & Lobbyists
Robin has experience working with the public, legislators, governors and business leaders.
Robin has stood up to powerful lobbies and lobbyists and has been a strong advocate for children and teachers.
After retiring from her career in public education, Robin attended the Birmingham School of Law.
A Christian In Service To Others
Robin is a devout Christian who believes that God’s calling for her has been to serve people. She now wants to focus on helping all citizens of Alabama by being your next Public Service Commissioner.
Her love of God, love of family, and her lifelong commitment to serving the people of Alabama compels her to seek public office.
Family & Interests
Robin has a wonderful family, most of whom live in the Mobile and Fairhope areas of our great state. She has a sister with cerebral palsy who lives in Montgomery. She also has multiple rescued dogs and cats that she refers to as her “fur-babies.”
Her leisure time activities include running, reading and spending time with her family.
